Description Position Overview A Bobtail Driver is responsible for delivering loads of petroleum products to customer locations in a safe, efficient manner, and within a specified window of time, at the direction of dispatch. These deliveries may take place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, in nearly any kind of weather. This position has a competitive compensation package including a Quarterly Driver Safety Bonus Program up to $1,500.00. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fills Bobtail truck. Delivers bulk quantities to tanks at both residential and commercial sites. Perform duties in accordance with local, state, federal regulations along with DDC procedures. Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth. Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations. Interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from dispatcher and management. Provide excellent customer service. Requirements Required/Preferred Education & Experience Minimum two years applicable driving experience. Possess a Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) with a HazMat endorsement and Tanker Endorsement. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English A clean driving records. Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security background check. Candidates must have a current medical card. Fuel or lubricant hauling experience preferred. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
