Description
Manage delivery of GPDS milestone deliverables across all Interior commodities. Lead the design, release, and delivery of Body Interior components and systems for Ford Racing Road Car Programs. Facilitate effective change management throughout design, development, and launch for Interior commodities. Manage Quality, Cost, Weight, Function and Timing (QCWFT) to support program & engineering GPDS milestones. Work with Purchasing to source commodities. Lead FS (Full Service) and BTP (Build to Print) suppliers and/or other internal/external resources to deliver subject programs. Assure conformance to the Ford Performance DNA and all applicable Ford & regulatory requirements. Support issue resolution and design change management during the prototype build and launch phases. Interface and maintain collaborative relationship with Core Body Engineering Organization. Support PMT lead and program team with overall program function. Established and active employee resource groups Bachelor of Science in Engineering 2+ Years of experience in Body Design & Release, including delivery of 1 completed program Experience in a PMT/SET lead or engineer role preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills 2 Years of experience utilizing CAD and/or other visualization tools Understanding of program delivery processes / GPDS Working knowledge of Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, CATIA, DFMEA, FEDE, FEDEBOM, WERS, 3DX Fabrication/mockup skills to demonstrate proof of concept Independent self-starter that can connect analytical tools with physical hardware and vehicle performance Passion for performance vehicles MSME/MBA preferred Launch experience preferred
