Responsibilities of a Body Shop Detailer entail: Responsible for maintaining shop cleanliness through disposing of trash, sweeping, etc. Remove and discard damaged parts from the shop Operate a forklift and drive trucks in and out of the shop Wash truck exterior and vacuum interior of vehicles, upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces Wash engines and engine compartments with steam-cleaning equipment Visually inspect trucks after processing for defects Document all relevant information on repairs Manage time effectively and efficiently Perform other duties as assigned CIT Trucks, LLC provides a comprehensive wage and benefits package that includes: Boot reimbursement of up to $150 annually Prescription safety glasses reimbursement of up to $175 annually Paid holidays and PTO Choice between 3 wide-ranging medical plans with prescription coverage Option to participate in HSA or FSA savings accounts Access to dental and vision insurance Short and long-term disability coverage Company paid life insurance, as well as additional voluntary life insurance for self and family 401(k) retirement planning that has a dollar-for-dollar employer match up to 4% Requirements The requirements to be a Body Shop Detailer: Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or GED preferred No experience required Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT medical card
