Description
Description The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles and documenting and scheduling necessary repair work. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and good customer service skills. Responsibilities Identifies and documents necessary body repair work Schedules repairs for customers either in person or on the phone Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations Works with Body Shop Technicians to ensure the repair work is completed Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures Serves as the primary point of contact for service and repair matters Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required Helps educate/train new staff members Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge Excellent customer service focus Neat, clean, and professional appearance Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record Can drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles Basic computer and internet skills Keating Auto Group is always looking for talented, self-motivated individuals to join our team.
