Description
Description South Dade Body Shop is seeking a detail-oriented and personable Body Shop Estimator to join our growing team. The Body Shop Estimator examines vehicles for collision related damage and documents the time and effort required to repair and refinish vehicles to pre-accident condition in accordance with industry standards and insurance company guidelines. Responsibilities include: Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance Examine damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage Estimate cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item Review repair cost estimates with the body shop manager or foreman Determine feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders and doors Prepare insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations Understanding and following federal, state, and local regulations as applicable to the position Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements Knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside Team oriented and customer service focused Automotive industry experience is a plus Proficient use of estimating software CCC and Audatex Complete Pre-employment Background check and Drug Screening Fluency in English and Spanish is required
