Description We have an immediate opening for an energetic, enthusiastic and highly motivated collision paint prepper to join our growing and dynamic team! Qualifications: Education and/or experience in paint repair preferred A high school diploma or the equivalent Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Responsibilities: Wash vehicle to remove dirt, oil, grease, and debris from painted surfaces. Locate and remove imperfections on panels prior to painting. Treat scratched and chipped areas with plastic or liquid filler. Apply paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces, such as bumpers, windows, chrome trim, and other parts while surrounding area are painted. Smooth unmasked surfaces with sandpaper, removing gloss from previous coats of paint and sand rough spots. As assigned, assist in the mixing of paint according to the manufacturer specifications. After the vehicle is painted, remove tape and clean vehicle.
