Qualifications: Education and/or experience in paint repair A high school diploma or the equivalent Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Responsibilities: Perform quality paint application within timeframe and material allowances as well as according to guidelines by efficiently using appropriate/allocated tools. Responsible for cleaning, sanding, and applying chemical solutions to prepare and condition surfaces prior to painting. Mask and cover surfaces not to be painted, removing accessories such as chrome, mirrors and windshield wipers. Mix and thin paint or other coating to specified color and consistency according to standard formulas or color charts. Spray specified amount or thickness of primer, protective, decorative, or finish coatings, such as paint, lacquer, sealer, or enamel, onto prepared surfaces.
