Body Shop Technician Responsibilities: * Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. * Repair truck body damage. * Install aftermarket parts. * Repair damage to vehicles as necessary and within the guidelines established at time of repair approval. * Interacts with dealership personnel and customers. * Look for and report any and all hidden damage observed during the repair process. * Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts. * Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by thecustomer. * Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order. * If tech has a CDL road testing vehicles may be required. * Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events. * Attain industry certifications as required. * Keep abreast of manufacturer updates and technical bulletins. * Mentor less-skilled technicians as assigned. * Report machinery and equipment defects and malfunctions to department management. * Keep shop area neat and clean. * Maintain and be accountable for all dealership-owned tools and equipment including returning to proper storage location when done. * Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as EPA, OSHA, and DOT. * Work in a safe manner at all times. * Report any safety issues to management immediately. * Perform other duties as assigned   Body Shop Benefits Include: * 16 days PTO plus holidays available during first year of employment * Technician Efficiency Programs * Immediate transition into new health insurance coverage * Three different medical plans designed to fit your needs * FSA/HSA plans to help with medical and childcare reimbursement * Dental and Vision Insurance plans * Short and Long-Term Disability * Supplemental Term Life Insurance and other co-insurance options * 401(k) with Match * Multiple Tuition Reimbursement programs and scholarship opportunities * Extensive in-house training * Health and wellness benefits * Doctor on Demand mobile app * Verizon wireless employee discounts * CDL re-imbursement program * Safety glasses and boot allowance programs * Multiple dealership locations to allow for relocation opportunities * Endless advancement opportunities throughout the company Allstate Peterbilt Group is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Minority, Female, Veteran, and Disability employer.
