Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and a passion for delivering top-notch service. You will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to their original condition, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including bumpers, fenders, and doors Conduct frame straightening and alignment Review each repair order, work order, and estimator’s notes to understand repairs needed prior to beginning work on the vehicle All repairs must be completed according to the documentation on the repair order or the supplement Inspect and assess vehicle damage to determine repair requirement Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety protocols and procedures Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Requirements Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent · Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role · Proficiency in auto body repair techniques and tools · Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and safety standards · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Valid driver's license and a clean driving record · ASE or I-CAR certification is a plus Benefits: Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement savings plan Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Positive and supportive work environment Journeyman hourly pay rate of $33.40/hr Yearly Tool Allowance
