Description The Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies. They use specialized tools and techniques to restore vehicles to their original condition after accidents, collisions, or other damage. Their work often involves straightening frames, replacing panels, and repairing dents. Responsibilities Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage. Straighten and align damaged frames using specialized equipment. Replace damaged body panels, doors, fenders, hoods, and other components. Repair dents, scratches, and other surface damage using various techniques. Apply primer, paint, and other finishes to repaired areas. Perform final inspections to ensure the vehicle is restored to its original condition. Maintain and repair shop equipment. Qualifications Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Completion of an automotive body repair program or equivalent experience. Strong mechanical and technical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Valid driver's license. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Ability to work in a noisy and sometimes dusty environment.
