We are actively seeking a highly engaged, motivated, and community-centered individuals for part-time BODYPUMP Instructors in Mission Viejo. The BODYPUMP Instructor will help to promote healthy lifestyles and reflects our commitment to community well-being. Location: Mission Viejo Work Schedule: Part-Time Purpose and Impact: Inspire Healthy Lifestyles: Motivate participants to achieve wellness goals and model positive habits. Foster Community and Inclusion: Create welcoming spaces and build meaningful connections that enhance member experience. Ensure Program Excellence: Deliver engaging, safe, and high-quality classes aligned with organizational standards. Maintain Safety and Standards: Uphold safety regulations and ensure proper care of equipment and facilities. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Age: 21+ years old. Education & Experience: Preferred: Two- or four-year degree in health, exercise science, recreation, or physical activity-related field. Coursework in human anatomy, exercise physiology, and kinesiology preferred. 2 years of experience in group exercise teaching required. Related background in health and/or fitness. Certifications: BODYPUMP certification required. Other group exercise certifications welcomed. First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
