Job Purpose: To prepare accurate repair estimates and negotiate effectively with customers, insurers, and surveyors to maximize body shop profitability while ensuring high standards of customer care. Key Job Responsibilities 1. Gaining and maintaining strong technical knowledge of vehicle parts pricing (new and used) to prepare accurate repair estimates and support cost-effective decision-making. 2. Adhering to and upholding company service standards to ensure exceptional customer care and satisfaction. 3. Receiving and delivering accident vehicles to and from customers to ensure smooth workflow and positive customer experience. 4. Collaborating with the team to achieve service and profitability targets to maintain operational efficiency and performance. 5. Interacting professionally with customers to understand their needs, provide clear explanations, and enhance public relations. 6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance companies to facilitate efficient accident repair approvals and on-the-spot estimation. 7. Preparing independent and accurate accident repair estimates for all vehicle brands to support timely job approvals and workshop productivity 8. Negotiating effectively with Insurance Surveyors to secure fair settlements and maximize workshop profitability. 9. Preparing and submitting daily visit and activity reports to ensure transparency, progress tracking, and performance monitoring. 10. Ensuring Work order/LPO is obtained from Insurance companies prior to starting of repair job. 11. Ensuring that Insurance companies are removing the T/L vehicles from workshop ion regular intervals 12. Handling any additional duties or special projects assigned by Management to support overall operational and business objectives. Education Qualification, Work Experience & Skills • Graduate in Engineering or Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering • 2–3 years of experience as an Estimator in a reputable automotive dealership or workshop. • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to interpret customer needs and repair requirements. • Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong administrative ability. • Proactive and customer-focused approach in all interactions. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
