Description

Job Purpose The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining a biogas and 2 electrode boilers and associated equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and continuous supply of steam. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: To operate boilers in an efficient and safe mode. Boiler maintenance during steam stops and off crops. Control steam pressure, flow and temperature. Ensure uninterrupted steam supply to production section and utility systems, supporting their output targets. Monitor and control boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, fuel input, and water levels. Manage boiler water quality. Operate the boiler as per set standards and procedure. Ensure the Safety of people and the boiler. Ensure that all problems are reported immediately to the relevant authorities. Effective communication and understanding your customers needs. Ensure a boiler physical check-up is done by using the checklist. Job Qualification and Experience: Fitter Mechanics level 2 or above from a recognized institution. Boiler operation and maintenance certificate from a recognized institution. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Factory environment.
