This role will give you both formal studies (TAFE) and practical experience in the Boilermaker trade undertaking Cert III Engineering – Fabrication (Heavy). Working within the ship repair & maintenance business of Thales Australia, you will be trained in the following specialist areas;

• Manufacturing of all types of steel work from drawings or samples, in various types of metals
• The safe use of basic hand tools, battery tools, electric and pneumatic tools
• Performing basic welding ( MIG, TIG & Stick)
• Fabrication and welding processe
