Description

Road Trains of Australia (RTA) is a major privately owned transporter in Australia and prides itself in having over a decade of experience in safe & dependable transportation of livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities throughout the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in their fleet of 90+ prime movers.
RTA are currently seeking a fully qualified Boilermaker to join the business on a full-time basis in various depots across Australia. As a Boilermaker you will maintain our equipment to ensure it is roadworthy.

As a Boilermaker at RTA your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Steel Fabrication and repairs of Heavy-Duty road trucks
  • Maintain completed work records to an acceptable standard
  • Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and the company’s policies & procedures

The successful candidate will have:

  • Trade qualifications as a Boilermaker
  • A valid HR/MC license (desirable but not essential)
  • Willingness to undertake and clear a full Medical & drug & alcohol fitness assessment
  • Provide Rights to work in Australia
  • National Police Clearance
  • Great attention to detail, taking pride in your work

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 – $55.00 per hour

Education:

  • High School (Year 9-11) (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Welding: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver Licence (Preferred)
  • Cert 111 in Engineering - Fabrication (Required)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Preferred)
