A well-established family-owned business, located in the Northern Suburbs, is currently looking for an experienced full-time Boilermaker to keep production running smoothly.

This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing on-site machinery, responding to breakdowns, and supporting the team with preventative maintenance. The role is a rotating roster with morning and afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to equipment and machinery breakdowns to reduce downtime
• Carry out preventative maintenance across a range of plant and machinery
• Diagnose mechanical faults and decide on the best repair solution
• Repair and replace components, including rebuilding production equipment
• Complete scheduled machinery inspections and raise maintenance requests
• Identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement across site maintenance
• Maintain all safety standards in line with established workplace requirements

Skills and Experience

Ideally, you will have Boilermaker trade qualifications and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. You take pride in delivering quality work, enjoy fixing problems, and will work well as part of a close-knit dedicated maintenance team of six.

Other Skills

• Demonstrated experience with welding (TIG, MIG and ARC)
• Background in manufacturing or concrete production preferred
• Team player who stays calm when things get busy
• Able to think quickly and juggle tasks as priorities change
