The Opportunity:
Due to continued and consistent growth 3D Engineering are looking for trade qualified boilermakers to join the team for an immediate start at our Mackay workshop.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Fabricate steel components for mining machinery and other equipment.
  • Repair and maintain mining machinery and other plant.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Undertake tasks involving use of measuring equipment and hand tools.
  • Undertake welding in accordance with engineering specifications.
  • Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required.

About you:

  • Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication/Boilermaking
  • Boilermakers must be able to weld to AS2980 standards and pass weld test
  • Extensive Fabrication and Welding experience
  • Ability to read, follow and interpret design drawings & instructions
  • Skilled & experienced in a variety of welding processes
  • High Risk Work licence covering forklifts preferable but not essential
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Self-motivated, positive & solutions focused

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

  • 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:
