ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Interpreting assembly drawings and instructions.
Experience with detailed Cutting and bending of materials.
Welding metal components and materials by means of Stick Welding, Mig Welding and Tig Welding.
Developing layouts and design plans as required.
Preparing a sequence of operations to accomplish the task.
Setting up the welding machines and other necessary equipment for the task.
Maintaining the machine tools and equipment such as drill press, grinders, oxy equipment, profile cutter, drop Saws etc.
Preparing reports of the work completed and raising corrective work orders when required.
Performing quality control checks on the finished product.
Adhering to the company’s safety standards and procedures.
Develop and train the Apprentices and Trainees in line with their trade.

To optimally maintain Metallurgy & Port mechanical assets to ensure their effective and efficient operation.
