QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 NQF 4
• N2 in Mechanical Engineering
• National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (advantageous)

Certifications:

• Relevant Boiler-making Technical Qualifications: Red sealed Engineering Trade certificate or SAQA Verified Trade Certificate)

JOB SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years relevant experience.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

To execute critical daily maintenance tasks and activities regarding the interpretation of drawings, installations, assembling, maintenance and repairs of structural equipment and fixtures in line with quality standards and compliance to MHSA to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operation of structural mining equipment within the mining plant.
