Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a competent, motivated and reliable trades person for our Archerfield workshop to join our growing team as a Plastics Fabricator. This will suit an experienced trades person who is looking for a career change in the market leading plastics industry. Most skills are transferable and hands-on, on the job training is provided. As a Plastics Fabrication Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in crafting complex plastic components using cutting-edge welding techniques.

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful applicant MUST:-

  • Be trade qualified Boilermaker/welder (or have sufficient experience in this field to be competent)
  • Experience fabrication to a high standard of workmanship and within tolerance.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret drawings (isometrics and construction plans).
  • Ability to consistently follow quality control processes and documentation.
  • Be able to work unsupervised with the ability to follow directions provided by supervisors.
  • Be able to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Have a drivers licence and own transport.
  • Pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen and Pre-Employment Medical
  • Be committed to OH&S policies and work procedures.

Current LF, DG, WP class High Risk Licence will be advantageous.
