Rate of pay is dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welding techniques MIG.
Cut, shape, and bend metal using hand tools, flame cutting, and machinery.
Inspect and test welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with standards.
Perform maintenance and repairs on existing metal structures and equipment.
Operate heavy machinery such as grinders, drills, and hydraulic presses.
Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations and procedures.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently.

Required skills and knowledge:

Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent - desirable.
Proven experience as a Boilermaker/Welder in industrial, construction, or manufacturing settings.
Proficiency in various welding techniques and metal fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures.
Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.
Forklift, EWP, or confined space tickets (desirable).
