Description Job Summary: The Assistant Manager provides support to the General Manager (GM) in the day to day operations of the restaurant, employees and customers. List of Responsibilities: (Note: This is not intended to be a complete list. Functions listed may be modified to fit business needs) Create, implement and maintain long-term goals and action plans for Quality, Service and Cleanliness (QSC). Responsible for all facilities management, store equipment, including calibrations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation. Maintains holding times, service speed, raw and finished product quality, cleanliness and sanitation. Responsible for unit implementation of new products and procedures. Supervises preparation and positioning of people, equipment, and products for each shift. Supervise product delivery; including proper handling and storage of raw products. Projects annual sales and profit plans. Creates long-term unit objectives and action plans for sales and communicates the plans to upper management. Executes LSM activities and extensions of company promotions. Defines trading area, competitors, and traffic generators. Displays correct and accurate POP materials. Follows up on procedures that support market promotions. Help upper management maintain the budget in supporting their goals in all aspects within the location. Checks period unit reports for accuracy. If required, verify that all bank deposits are received by the bank in a timely basis and amounts are correct. Utilizes computerized build-to and is in charge of ordering and bin prediction level charts. Completes cash sheet, counts drawers, and assembles deposits. Completes or assist in completion of all reports or required logs. Ability to perform all Team Member functions willingness to step into roles when needed. Meet paperwork and computer entry deadlines for Payroll and Human Resources as established by timelines put in place. Enforce all Safety and Security Issues and report unsafe conditions, following up until issue is resolved. Follow company procedures to report and process required communications and paperwork concerning all employee or customer incidents or accidents. Follow and enforce all Labor Laws, Company Policies and Established Procedures in the store Operations. Maintains a professional demeanor at all times in supervising employees or handling of challenges/complaints from employees or customers. Work closely with upper management to recruit, interview, hire and train new hires. Support, encourage, and challenge employees for success and promotional opportunities. Under direction of upper management, handle corrective action or terminations according to company policy. Requirements Other Information: Related experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. This position requires repetitive motions and the ability to lift or push objects weighing up to 40 lbs Professional demeanor in supervising employees and supporting customer needs required. Ability to multi-task recommended Ability to work 10-hour shifts five days weekly. Flexibility in schedule with availability to open or close and run shifts without supervision required Ability to stand long term, bend to clean and/or stock and lift products up to 50 lbs.
