Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Research and Development (R&D), Product Management, Procurement, Pricing and Operations teams to understand, implement, test and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) data for new and existing products in the ERP system(s).
  • Build knowledge around the VENTORA products, processes, tools, and systems to deliver practical and technical solutions for a variety of product data problems and projects.
  • Interact with databases and ERP programs (code) to ensure quality, accuracy, and confidentiality of product information.
  • Receive, assess, and action requests to create, change or delete product data within an appropriate ticketing system.
  • Follow established change management practices to ensure the integrity of data by testing changes and reviewing, providing feedback and signing off on peers’ work.
  • Communicate appropriately, effectively and in a timely manner with peers, managers, corporate team members and business users.
  • Suggest and contribute to internal and external operational improvements.
  • Anticipate and assess the impact of changes to the business and technology environment on Product Data.
  • Produce documentation on team practices, system procedures and business products for self and team reference.
