BOOK KEEPING ASSISTANT
We are a well-established, very successful lettings and property management company seeking a customer-focused, highly efficient person to work as a Book Keeping Assistant. The main responsibility is to help with the administration of the accounts for our Block Management department, based in Watford.
You must be adept at organising your workload and have good computer experience as well as numerical accuracy. Previous accounts experience would be advantageous but not essential for this position. We require someone who combines both a meticulous eye for detail with excellent people skills.

Tasks include:
· Invoicing for service charges and ground rents, as required
· Receipting service charge and ground rent payments. Direct liaison with leaseholders regarding payments
· Managing credit control – chasing arrears and communicating position with the relevant clients
· Checking and payment of contractors’/tradesmen’s invoices, as required
· Preparing bank credits, as required, on receipt of cheques or cash
· Preparing standing order forms for leaseholders, as required
· Covering for other accounts staff during their absence.
Hours of work: Total of 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 3pm with half hour break for lunch. Hours may be amended to suit the right candidate.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
