JOB DESCRIPTION
I’m seeking an experienced book marketing specialist to promote my newly published and old books and audiobooks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in running effective promotional campaigns on platforms like Amazon Kindle, IngramSpark, Bookbub, Tiktok, Smashwords, FindAway Voices, Draft2Digital and Author’s Republic with their various 50+ sales channels, with a focus on price promotions and generating reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Manage price promotions, discounts, and free campaigns using Draft2Digital’s Promotional Pricing Tool.
- Distribute and promote audiobook review codes on platforms such as Goodreads, Audiobook Boom, and other relevant channels.
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy to maximize visibility across digital platforms.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights for improving sales.
- Leverage social media like LinkedIn and email marketing to increase reach and engagement.
- Collaborate to craft compelling metadata, book descriptions and marketing materials.
- Most importantly, increase readership (200 sales daily) and book sales ($1M+ USD yearly) via full management of PPC campaigns, product listings, paid digital ads, Sponsored Products, Brands & Display ads and sales efforts.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field
Requirements:
- Proven experience in book and audiobook promotion.
- Knowledge of Draft2Digital, Author’s Republic, Goodreads and other distribution platforms.
- Familiarity with running campaigns to attract reviews and early buzz for audiobooks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media ads and email marketing tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with self-published authors.
- Established network with audiobook reviewers and book influencers.
- Track record of successful marketing campaigns leading to increased book sales.
Project Scope:
- Marketing focus on old and new books in all formats including e-books, paperbacks, hardcovers and audiobooks
- Campaign duration: 3 months initially.
Budget: Negotiable based on experience and scope of work.
