As our business continues to develop, we are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Semi-Senior to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in managing diverse bookkeeping responsibilities while contributing to the ongoing success of a collaborative and highly professional, comfortable environment.

Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping for a variety of clients, working alongside both seniors and clients in preparing accounts.
  • Payroll and pension processing
  • VAT return preparation and submission
  • Preparation of personal tax returns
  • Liasing with both HMRC and clients

Candidates should:

  • Have three years experience as a bookkeeper, ideally in practice.
  • Be motivated to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Possess good time management and organisational skills while working in a fast paced environment.
  • Have up to date knowledge on relevant tax regulations.
  • Show attention to detail while under pressure.
  • Have experience in accountancy software such as Sage and Quickbooks.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work with clients and colleagues.
  • Ideally have one year of experience in Audit.
