INTRODUCTION

Do you have experience of providing administrative and customer services in a busy office environment, combined with the drive to provide a good quality service for people who are less mobile?
Beds RCC is seeking a part-time Booking Clerk and Administrator to assist with the day to day smooth operation of Beds RCC’s community transport services in Bedfordshire. The post reports to the Community Transport Operations Manager.
The successful applicant will need to be able to use initiative, working under pressure and often without supervision. S/he will need the versatility to be able to balance a variety of duties. A knowledge and understanding of the transport needs and difficulties of disabled people would be helpful. Training will be provided as required.
Operational hours are between 08.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday: regular hours (usually mornings) within these will be agreed with the post holder, although some flexibility to ensure cover (by negotiation) will be necessary.
