JOB SUMMARY

To provide customer service and administrative support at Chesham Moor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A first aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent levels of customer service.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to be resilient and adaptable.
  • Ability to display strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of products and other such systems
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: £12.65-£13.05 per hour
    Expected hours: 34 per week

Responsibilities
  • Greeting customers, answering the phone and providing information to members and visitors.
  • Handling bookings, cancellations and memberships enquiries.
  • Managing the reception area, directing visitors and ensuring a tidy and organised space.
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping, customer information and other relevant data.
  • Assisting with serving in the café as and when required.
  • Addressing customer queries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Assisting with event planning as required.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through memberships, classes, and events and feed these to management.
  • Work with the wider Council team to achieve the Council climate goal of net zero by 2030.
  • Any other duties as required by the senior leadership team that are commensurate with the grade.
