Who The Client Is: Our client is a leading Australian advisory and consulting firm specializing in financial, commercial, and infrastructure advisory services. The firm works with both public and private sector clients—ranging from governments and state enterprises to corporations and high-net-worth individuals. Role Overview: We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to work within our public practice division (CPA Public Practice) assisting the team in delivering bookkeeping services to a range of small and medium businesses, allied health providers and not-for-profit organizations. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, manage multiple bookkeeping tasks, and deliver accurate financial information with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities for a range of clients across different sectors and industries Perform regular bank and account reconciliations Provide BAS preparation and support Assist with payroll processing and related compliance tasks Prepare basic financial reports and summaries Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Ensure deadlines are met and data integrity is maintained Proven experience in a bookkeeping role Strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping practices Experience with BAS and payroll support High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong time-management and organizational skills Client Specific Setup & Benefits: Work equipment is provided by the client and will be shipped to the hired candidate Access to paid public holidays in Western Australia Access to paid 4 weeks annual leave per annum Access to paid two weeks personal leave per annum As an independent contractor, you will be responsible in managing your own taxes, government benefits, and health insurance 13th month pay is not provided Work Arrangement & Expectations: This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
