Description Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience and be proficient in QuickBooks. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting the company's overall financial operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Process invoices, payments, and bank deposits. Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation. Maintain organized financial documentation and records. Requirements Qualifications Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Knowledge of sales tax reporting and payroll tax filings.
