Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an exceptionally reliable and experienced Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to become a cornerstone of our core team. Not a consultant or outsider - we are seeking a team member. This is a long-term role for a professional who finds satisfaction in accuracy, process, and supporting a mission that matters. You will be responsible for the financial record-keeping of our non-profit and providing the financial administrative backbone that allows our programs to run smoothly. We need someone who has mastered these skills and is ready to apply them in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections.
  • Develop and maintain our chart of accounts.
  • Prepare monthly P&L statements and donor financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
  • Audits
  • Tracking metrics
  • Track budgets and generate financial insights for leadership.
  • Use QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and Google Sheets/Excel for accurate record keeping.
  • Collaborate with leadership on financial planning and decision-making.
  • Support financial operations through light administrative tasks such as reporting, filing, and documentation management.
