Twenty2 Recruitment are working with a Client in Ashby de la Zouch who are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team. Successful applicants will ideally have experience working in an Accountancy practice or a multi-Client Bookkeeping role.

The key purpose of the Bookkeeper position is to process multiple client’s bookkeeping requirements accurately and on time, ensuring all deadlines, quality standards and targets are achieved.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in accounts processing in a multi-client environment would be an advantage
  • Experience using Xero would be an advantage
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
    Pay: Up to £34, 000.00 per year plus bonus scheme

Responsibilities
  • Processing clients’ bookkeeping for sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies using Xero and/or Excel
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Liaising with clients
  • Assisting with onboarding new accounts clients
  • Liaising with HMRC, Companies House and clients’ accountants as required
  • Answering clients’ accounts questions and dealing with issues
