REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • High School Diploma / GED is a mandatory qualification
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and Quickbooks
  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping in experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Bookkeeping and processing payroll experience is a must
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada is essential
  • Own reliable transportation
  • Able to clear Criminal check and credit check

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and prepare payroll along with associated government remittances/filings
  • Record sales, accounts receivable expenses, and accounts payable for the company and its affiliated entity
  • Monitor, reconcile, and maintain GL accounts, encompassing cash, bank reconciliation, accrued liabilities, and more
  • Submit T4s, T4As, T5s, and workers’ compensation returns annually
  • Aid external accountant in income tax submissions
  • Manage GST/PST returns and remittances
  • Handle bank deposits and reimbursements
  • File and electronically organize historical records while maintaining physical copies
  • Assist in various administrative tasks, such as document handling, meeting scheduling, and benefit administration
  • Collaborate with team members, foster client relationships, and develop proficient office communication systems
  • Provide bookkeeping and office administrative assistance as required
