REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, with at least 3 years in a
  • construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of construction accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks,
  • Buildertrend, Procore, or similar).
  • Proven experience with job costing, change orders, and billing for construction
  • projects.
  • Experience managing payroll and handling tax filings.
  • Bilingual Preferred (Spanish)
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related
  • field preferred.
  • knowledge in P&L and financial analysis

RESPONSABILITIES

Bookkeeping & Accounting:

  • Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process and reconcile subcontractor and vendor invoices in accordance with

project timelines.

  • Maintain and update general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and timely posting

of transactions.

  • Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant

regulations.

  • Generate monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements,

balance sheets, and project-specific financials.

  • Work closely with external accountants for tax filing and year-end financial

reporting.

  • Assist in budget preparation and cost control for ongoing and upcoming

projects.

  • Construction-Specific Financial Management:
  • Track project budgets, job costs, and change orders to ensure projects are

completed within financial parameters.

  • Liaise with project managers and field teams to ensure financial data is

accurate and up-to-date.
