JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working closely with various departments to support their accounting needs.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential. Excel skills also essential
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
  • A relevant qualification in finance or accounting would be advantageous but is not mandatory. We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about maintaining accurate financial records to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Bookkeeper within our organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update financial records using accounting software. Previous use of QuickBooks desirable
  • Process accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
  • Raise purchase orders, liaise with suppliers
  • Organise imports, and communicate efficiently with couriers
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support warehouse with good in/out, pack boxes and prepare customer order
  • Manage customer accounts, raise quotes, invoicing etc
