We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant. As a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers and data.
Duties:
- Perform various Bookkeeper / administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing calendars
- Assist with accounting tasks such as account analysis, payroll processing, and budgeting
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Quick books ) to maintain financial records and generate reports
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Process accounts payable and assist with vendor management
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements for team members
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or Sage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and bank reconciliations
- Experience with payroll processing and budgeting
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
