POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial transactions and support general administrative operations. This role includes full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll processing, government remittances, reconciliations, and financial reporting, as well as providing administrative assistance to management and other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma/certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and QuickBooks
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements

PPE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must comply with all posted PPE requirements in the facility
  • Responsible for certified safety footwear
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Full-cycle bookkeeping: A/P, A/R, payroll, reconciliations, and government remittances (HST/GST/PST, CPP, WSIB, EI)
  • Enter and maintain financial data in QuickBooks Premier Manufacturing Edition
  • Prepare month-end and year-end reports; liaise with external accountants
  • Maintain cash flow projections and assist with budgets and forecasts
  • Match invoices to purchase orders, investigate discrepancies, and process approved payments
  • Support administrative functions, including document control, filing, and supply ordering
  • Assist HR with records and basic documentation
