Envi Design Management Group is a bookkeeping and accounting company specializing in helping creative entrepreneurs organize and understand their finances. We work with a wide range of businesses including but not limited to artists, photographers, event planners, interior designers, musicians, and makers. We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, personable, Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to help with day to day accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with a diverse roster of clients as well as tech savvy enough to be able to jump into established systems. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into an already successful company at the ground level and benefit personally and financially from helping it grow.
The position is part-time/ hourly to start with the ability to quickly move to full-time salary with benefits for the right candidate. Position will be based in either our Troy, MI or Northville, MI offices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting or Finance and/or
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • QuickBooks knowledge and experience is required
  • Outstanding communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a change-oriented environment

Responsibilities

BOOKKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform monthly client bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Recording financial transactions for multiple client accounts which includes establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring legal compliance
  • Maintaining client financial records by organizing & filing digital documents
  • Preparing monthly client financial reports by set deadlines
  • Assist in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage company calendar
  • Assist with client onboarding process
  • Research and implement marketing opportunities
  • Other administrative duties as needed
