Position: Bookkeeper (Part-time or Full-time)
About the Role: Infinity Beverages Winery & Distillery is seeking an ambitious candidate looking for part-time work as a Bookkeeper. An entry level candidate for the Bookkeeper role would have at least one year of prior experience. Our ideal candidate would have a passion for the wines and spirits industry, 3 years or more of related bookkeeping or office management experience, and a desire to work in other capacities such as a Tasting Attendant/Bartender, Marketing/Sales Ambassador, and/or Production Assistant.
Hours: Part-time or Full-time. Flexible shifts.
Salary: Based on experience. Please include any related salary requirements and/or salary history.
Benefits: Monthly wine/spirit stipend, employee discount, paid time off, expense account, QSEHRA, and gas reimbursement and/or use of company vehicles for travel. 401k planned to be implemented in the near future.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, TRAITS, ETC:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including debits and credits, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial report writing
  • Proficient in using accounting software (Xero/Odoo), Google Workspace, and MS Office applications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing/production inventory accounting is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, independent with ability to multi-task
  • Eagerness to continually learn and expand knowledge of Infinity product line in particular as well as wines and spirits in general

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Perform general bookkeeping duties, including data entry, maintaining financial records, and processing accounts payable and receivable as well as payroll
  • Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Prepare and audit financial reports
  • Utilize double-entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices
