JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our team in managing daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with payroll, and ensuring smooth administrative processes within the organization.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within an accounting environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and payroll processing.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their career in administration while utilizing their accounting skills in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.

  • Assist in budgeting and account analysis to support financial planning and reporting.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for bookkeeping tasks.
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain organized financial documentation for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide general administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
