Description

We currently have positions for bookkeepers / administrators, part-time and full-time. We are seeking individuals that will complement our established team and contribute to maintaining our friendly and supportive work environment.
The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring that all bookkeeping and accounts administration functions continue to be carried out to a high standard.

EXPERIENCE

  • Preference will be given to candidates with a detailed understanding of bookkeeping, especially the preparation and submission of VAT returns and the efficient and effective operation of Payroll
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Word and Outlook is a prerequisite
  • Experience in using an accounts package (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero etc.) and experience in operating and maintaining a payroll package a distinct advantage
  • Practice experience and or other bookkeeping/administration experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Office administration, bookkeeping and payroll duties, including the following:

  • Assisting with front office duties including answering the phone and meeting customers
  • Communicating with clients, including requesting information, paperwork and payroll details
  • Day-to-day processing of transactions: sales and purchases invoices, payment runs and remittances
  • Preparation of reconciliations: bank, debtors, creditors, VAT, PAYE, RCT and Payroll
  • Updating of accounts packages
  • Preparation of accounts schedules and summaries
  • Preparation, administration and submission of payroll
  • Working with and supporting senior staff.
