We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Bookkeeper & Payroll Accountant to take full ownership of the Accounts Payable and payroll processes. This role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and smooth day-to-day financial operations in a growing organization. Responsibilities Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice review, validation, system entry, and vendor reconciliations. Prepare and execute vendor payments in accordance with company policy and engagement terms. Full responsibility for the preparation of monthly salaries, working in close liaison with the HR department. Handle prepayments, future offsets, and maintain/monitor standing orders. Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, and Management to verify receipt of goods/services before invoice processing. Manage month-end accruals, prepaid expenses, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and submit reports to tax authorities e.g. VAT. Requirements At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll preparation, with full responsibility for Accounts Payable. Certified Bookkeeper (Levels 1+2) and Certified Payroll Accountant qualification. Strong experience working with ERP systems; experience with Priority is a significant advantage. Excellent organizational skills, high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently, demonstrate ownership, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. Comfortable working in English, both written and spoken.
