Atwells Management located in North Providence, RI is looking for an ambitious staff member to join our team! This role is a hands-on position that will assist with various administrative tasks throughout different company locations.    Responsibilities: * Complete invoice filing and record keeping. * As assigned, assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.  * Complete the onboarding and separation of staff members to include having necessary documents on file.  * Keep electronic employee personnel files, Front and Back, up to date. Documents to include but not limited to onboarding paperwork, coaching and counseling documents, resignations, department of labor claims, requests of leave of absence, training certifications, etc.  * Keep track of the Form I-9 and identification separated from the employee personnel files. As needed, for expired documents, request new identification from staff members. * Verify hours, input tips, update paid time off, and process weekly payroll.  * Track and update employee status, i.e. Full Time, Part Time, etc. within the payroll system.  * Track the eligibility, enrollment and waivers of medical, dental and vision benefits.  * All other assigned duties.    Candidate Requirements: * Weekly schedule will generally be Monday through Friday. Hours worked will be located in North Providence, RI. Opportunities to travel to Block Island, RI may occur during peak onboarding time periods (May and June).  * Uphold the company’s policies and procedures. * Previous accounting and/or payroll experience is preferred but not mandatory. * Good communication skills to include in-person, phone and email communications. * Critical thinker who can work independently and is eager to learn.
Responsibilities
The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, invoice filing, and maintaining electronic personnel records. Additionally, the administrator will process weekly payroll, track employee status, and manage benefit enrollment.
