JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper and Payroll person. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivables and accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires proficiency in Xero /Sage and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage, or Xero
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and bookkeeping principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of transactions
  • Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial discrepancies are resolved
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budget preparation
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assist with year-end audits and provide necessary documentation
  • Utilise accounting software such as Sage, or Xero to manage financial data
