We are seeking a meticulous individual to join our accounting team as a Bookkeeper Assistant. This role primarily involves inputting data into our dealer management software and ensuring seamless integration with QuickBooks, along with ensuring accurate tax calculations for various Canadian provinces.

Responsibilities:

  • Input accurate financial data into our dealer management software, focusing on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax calculations for different Canadian provinces
  • Ensure seamless integration of data from the dealer management software to QuickBooks, maintaining data accuracy throughout the process
  • Verify and validate data integrity between systems to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Support in maintaining organized records to facilitate tax filings and audits, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and local tax regulations
  • Assist in generating reports as needed, including sales tax reports for different provinces
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Canadian tax regulations, particularly for different provinces, is essential
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably within a dealership environment
  • Experience with dealer management software and QuickBooks integration is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
