BOWLTIFUL is an established and fast-growing hospitality brand known for our signature hand-pulled Lanzhou beef noodles. With a strong focus on quality, cultural authenticity, and exceptional customer service, we strive to deliver a memorable dining experience to every guest.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records for all branches and managing day-to-day financial requirements. You will prepare monthly financial reports, conduct analysis, and provide recommendations to help improve the overall performance of the company.
This position requires a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism, as well as strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or in a similar finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Process incoming and outgoing purchase orders, invoices, and receipts, ensuring accurate tracking of payables and receivables.
  • Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain organised filing of hard copies.
  • Prepare monthly position statements, performance statements, and cash flow statements with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct quarterly financial analysis and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
  • Prepare annual branch budgets, as well as budgets for new branches prior to opening.
  • Regularly update pricing for central kitchen products.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth financial operations across the company.
  • Manage inventory records to maintain food costs within budget.
  • Process employee payroll and expense claims accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS statements in compliance with reporting requirements.
