The company values financial accuracy and uses modern accounting systems to support their growing operations. ​ Job Description: You’ll be the financial backbone for a thriving construction business, managing their bookkeeping operations with precision and efficiency. This role offers excellent exposure to construction industry accounting while providing the flexibility of remote work. You’ll work directly with modern accounting software and support a professional team that values accuracy and growth. Responsibilities: Manage comprehensive bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks Online for a $3.6M revenue construction business Process and reconcile bank statements with attention to high-value transactions Handle data entry for financial transactions typically ranging from $2,000-$10,000 Manage invoicing processes for both product sales and service work Process receipts and documentation uploaded through Ledger Docs system Provide payroll support and processing as needed Perform monthly account reconciliations and financial administrative tasks Support general accounting functions and maintain accurate financial records Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience QuickBooks Online certification and demonstrated proficiency Experience with Canadian tax laws and regulations Strong attention to detail for processing high-value transactions Ability to work independently in a remote environment Bonus if you have construction industry accounting experience It helps if you’ve worked with Canadian clients previously Nice to have experience with receipt management systems like Ledger Docs Independent Contractor Perks Permanent work-from-home Immediate hiring Job ID: ZR_29352_JOB
