POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will maintain the company’s accounting system, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist in payroll and tax preparation, while supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and manage the company’s accounting system
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries
  • Assist in payroll processing and tax preparation
  • Develop and monitor budgets to ensure financial goals are met
  • Collaborate with management on financial forecasting and planning
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Provide support during audits and financial reviews

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax preparation
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
