Nyrah Beauty (Aidraine Enterprises Ltd) is an Irish Brand owning company currently scaling its E-commerce position. Its leading brand Nyrah Beauty, a fast-growing, skincare brand, and is looking to add to its team a Financial controller/Bookkeeper on a Part time or contract basis. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about scaling a brand and who has the patience and ability to deal with what that brings.
The role suits a person who is independent and can both work on site with a multi disciplinary small team and remote to get things done. We are young and growing.
This role reports to the Directors of the company, who have a long history in scale up and in this industry, experience and responsibilities below are wished for but not a must, candidates will be chosen for fit and capability over all.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Accountancy part-qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
  • Commercial focus and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial IT systems.
  • Effective communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on agreed company-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Attend management meetings and strategic discussions.
  • Manage monthly payroll and ensure all statutory payments and reports are submitted on time.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage banking relationships and maintain optimal levels of working capital.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient annual audit process.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the GM.
  • Above all the ability to understand and have patience and flexibility to understand the function is to support the scaling of this company and potentially bring solutions to support that growth and the constraints such brings.
    This role is based in Mayo and candidates if applying must be willing to be in Mayo, this is at the beginning a part time role and therefore its not expected for people to relocate. This role will be interviewed for and therefore candidates must be available for interview

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Turlough, Castlebar, CO. May

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile on our Xero accounts package orders from our E comm platform from both Ireland and UK
  • Coordinate with our current accountancy practice to ensue all Irish/UK and OSS VAT ledgers are accurate for filing
  • Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of finance.
  • Support Directors in developing as accurate as possible weekly to Quarterly cash flow projections
