JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial concepts to support our financial operations effectively.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in QuickBooks, excel accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and non-profit accounting practices.
  • Knowledge of public accounting standards and governmental accounting regulations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and journal entries.
  • Ability to perform account reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Excellent skills in financial report writing and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail with effective 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks.
  • Proficient in budgeting techniques and understanding of financial concepts related to business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Prepare and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment processing.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Execute journal entries and maintain the general ledger to reflect all financial activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct account analysis and prepare budgets to support financial planning efforts.
  • Provide tax experience support by preparing necessary documentation for tax filings.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits to ensure compliance with accounting practices.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, excel platforms for efficient bookkeeping operations.
  • Support payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of payroll transactions.
